Our Name
Webfair – comes from two words: web which means a network or group fair which means an exposition that promotes the availability of services or opportunities. The trade name WEBFAIR also carries the EBF initial of the founder.

The Beginning
Webfair was founded as a consultancy and insurance services office on April 6, 2001. Our main business was assisting industrial company getting their ISO certification. We were also providing insurance services thru then BPI insurance. Stiff competition from younger and aggressive generation forced the founder to consider other business interest. In the middle of year 2001, computer and internet-related business was very profitable because only few shops could be seen in the metropolis to serve the growing computer related needs of permanent and transient residents. The founder decided to put an internet cafe and named it Webfair
